Long time no see!
I hardly make anything new these days, but here is one thing that has been an obsession of mine for some time.
A zipped pouch!
Made of wallpaper, of course.
The biggest task was to find the right pattern that allow me to sew the whole thing without turning it inside out (as if sewing a fabric pouch). I didn't realize this at first, hence i tweaked it from using different combinations of materials. The on-and-off trials &errors of numerous samples took almost two years (crazy!) and mostly ended in frustrations.

I did manage to make two different models of boxy pouch.
The first one tried with a much-too-long zipper (it was the only one left in my sewing kit).
The second one using fabric on the upper half of the pouch which i didn't feel like making anymore by the end of it.

Thankfully, the pouch trivia has now been solved!
I finally found out the correct pattern and managed to make the pouch using just wallpaper and fusible woven interfacing.
They feel sturdy enough without being stiff, withhold wear & tear (thanks to the fusible interwoven and the strong stitch) and most importantly they have the "made-of-wallpaper" look.
(I don't know if it's important to some people but i mostly stay away from other materials that are non-paper because i need paperpleased to remain true to its name).
The pouches are A-shaped and come in 3 sizes:
Large: 18.5 x 12 x 6 (cm)
Medium: 15 x 10 x 5 (cm)
Small: 11.5 x 7.5 x 3.5 (cm)
The first sample is made using the cutest strawberry-patterned wallpaper, and since then, i've made a few more :)
